Thank you for considering a donation to Jong Bonaire, the after school center for teens on the island of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles (Dutch Caribbean). The following is the privacy policy adopted for Jong Bonaire, its web site www.jongbonaire.org and our 501(c)3 non-profit foundation in the USA, Friends of Jong Bonaire Foundation, EIN#13-4090990.

Anonymous Access

All visitors may access our web site home page and browse our site without disclosing any personal information. This web site does not allow visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information that can be accessed by others.

Only One Secure Outside Link

For your convenience when donating we provide a link to a secure server. None of the credit card information you provide at the secure site will ever be seen by our computer or by our organization. Jong Bonaire has selected CharityWeb (www.charityweb.net) as our secure donation manager. Your donation information either credit card or check) will go from your computer via encrypted code to their secure server.

Collection of Personal Information at Secure Location

At the secure site of CharityWeb you will provide credit card or check information along with your name, address, phone and e-mail address and shipping information if you purchase art or music items. This information will be used only for handling the transaction of your donation and CharityWeb will never use this information for any of their own activities. Furthermore, the secure server of CharityWeb has no other uses except to process charitable donations.

Once you have made an on-line donation, you will receive an immediate on-line receipt from the CharityWeb secure server. At the same time our bank account will be credited with your donation and Jong Bonaire will receive a notice of your donation from CharityWeb. This notice of your donation will have your name, address, shipping address (if applicable) phone and e-mail address so you can be entered in the door prize drawing, receive the goods you purchased and can be notified if you are a winner of a prize. We will never see the credit card or check information you have provided at the secure server.

Cookies

We do not use "cookies" to store your personal data nor do we link non-personal information stored in cookies with personal data about specific individuals. The only personal data we collect is that which you provide while making your donation which is required to process the donation, enter you in the drawing and-or ship your purchase to you. From time to time we may add a few research questions to our site to better understand how the program is being accepted. Your answers to these questions will be anonymous and are not required for processing a donation.

Use of your personal data

We will not use personal data without your prior approval for any purpose other than:

• Recording your donation and acknowledging it with an e-mail
• Shipping your purchased art or music items
• Entering your ticket in the door prize drawing, unless you check "No" on number 1 below.
• Follow-up if there is a problem with the donation, i.e. we receive notice from a bank or credit card company that the donation can not be processed
• Announcing the list of winners on our website and in press materials
• Specific requests you may make (see below)

Future Contact from Jong Bonaire

We offer you a method to consent to future contact by Jong Bonaire. You can simply check yes or no to the following statements when you are connected to our secure server:

1. Please notify me if I am a door prize winner.
2. Please send me the annual report for Jong Bonaire.
3. Please send the annual report via e-mail.
4. Please send the annual report to my postal address.
5. Please notify me if there is another similar event in the future.
6. Please send important news about Jong Bonaire via e-mail
7. Please notify me of major changes to your website

Security of your personal data

We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the privacy of all donors. These policies cover unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure and unauthorized modification. All our employees who have access to your personal data (name, address, etc.) are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our donors. Again we must state that Jong Bonaire and its staff will never have access to your credit card or check information. That will be sent from your computer to the secure server of CharityWeb. CharityWeb has made assurances to us that they take all the necessary precautions to protect the privacy of all donors. They will not use your name and address for any purpose other than processing your donation. Your information will not be disclosed to any state institutions or authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

Access to Your Own Personal Data

If you provide proof of your identity, we will disclose to you whatever personal information we might hold about you. Proof of identity will include a copy of legal identification papers and a self addressed stamped envelope sent to our postal mail address: Kaya Simon Bolivar 16, Kralendijk, Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean. Our information will be sent only to an address that is the same as the one provided when you made your donation or the one that appears on the legal identification papers we receive. We allow you to challenge the data, where appropriate and you may have the data erased, rectified, amended or completed.
