Good food or ambience? You don't have to choose. Donna and Giorgio didn't. Donna loves art, fashion, antiques and design. Giorgio's passion is the home-style cooking he remembers from his native Sardinia.

Together, this young couple has created a unique and cozy environment that's become the 'happening spot' on Bonaire.

The walls of their restaurant are covered with art by Donna and other local and visiting artists and many are for sale. Old Bonairean mirrors and side tables recall the days when local woodworking was a high art. There's even an antique high chair.

While you wait for your meal to be cooked to order, enjoy the view on almost every surface. You can always find fresh seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes and fabulous desserts on the blackboard menu.

The wines are special too and are selected by Donna to complement the food nicely. There's a small bar inside that features authentic antepasto snacks all evening long. And, for those of you who arrive on an evening flight, Donna & Giorgio serves until 11 pm.

Donna & Giorgio is right on the main street as it heads North out of Kralendijk. Look for thre red-checked tablecloths and the happy people.
