KLM operates daily flights to the Netherlands Antilles from convenient Schipol Airport in Amsterdam. On Tuesday and Sunday there are direct flights to Bonaire (summer schedule 2001). The other flights go to Curacao, which is only a short 15 minute flight from Bonaire via ALM. Flights from Amsterdam originate at Schiphol Airport. Air ALM operates flights between Miami and the Netherlands Antilles twice a day, with two direct flights between Bonaire and Miami. Direct flights to and from Bonaire are on Saturday and Tuesday. On the other days visitors will make a short stop and plane change in Curacao, which is only a 15 minute flight away, also on Air ALM.
